OMNIS LAUNCHES NINE NEW FUNDS
Omnis is pleased to announce on 23 August we added new funds to our existing range.
Over the weekend we successfully completed a fund reorganisation, known as a ‘Scheme of Arrangement’, whereby we opened nine new funds, and closed four older funds. The monies from the older funds were transferred into the nine new funds in the proportions set out below.
WHY DID WE MAKE THIS CHANGE?
We constantly review our funds to make sure we are providing you with the best possible investment opportunities. This reorganisation delivers increased ‘diversification’ (the concept of not putting all your eggs in one basket) and broadens the choice of investments available to you. It also allows us to give you access to several new high-quality managers.
The newly appointed managers: RWC Partners, AXA Investments, Hermes Investment Management and Fulcrum Asset Management – went through a rigorous selection process and we consider them to be among the best in the industry for the asset classes they are managing for us. We are confident these investment managers, combined with the three managers we are retaining: T. Rowe Price, Fidelity International and Jupiter Asset Management will be able to provide you with the long-term investment prospects that you need to make your wealth grow.
HOW DOES THIS EFFECT YOUR INVESTMENTS?
We think these changes will benefit you over the long term by providing you with an improved investment outcome. You don’t need to do anything, but it is important that you review these changes with your financial adviser as part of your regular review. The level of investment risk that you are carrying and the fund fees that you pay to invest with us are not expected to materially change as a result of the Omnis fund reorganisation.
If you need further information about the new funds or the transition process, please speak to your financial adviser.
The value of your investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest. This update reflects Omnis’ view at the time of writing and is subject to change.
